Geographical situation in Canada and Quebec :
We are situated in Quebec at 2 hours drive from Montreal North (180 km) in Lanaudière area. Our inn is in the middle of the boreal forest, on the Taureau Lake border that completely freezes on surface in winter. The ice depth can reach 80 cm. Saint-Michel-des-Saints village is situated at 7 km south from our inn. We are really isolated from the urban population; freedom sensation and change of scenery are assured. The Mont Tremblant national Park as well as the Rouge-Matawin faunistic Reserve bordered the Taureau Lake west banks whereas Mastigouche faunistic reserve and Mauricie national Park are free open on the east part of the lake. These reserves and natural parks offer a marvellous countryside to our region’s snowmobile drivers.
Canadian winter is generally dry and beautiful. The snow falls not very often but very abundantly. The temperature can vary between 0°C to -40°C in a day. The supplied equipment is appropriate to this big cold.

What is necessary for travelling in Canada and Quebec :

• a valid passport
• power supply 110 volt and plugs with 2 blades usually used in USA
• for driving a snowmobile your driver’s licence must be valid and you must be at least 21 years old

We are not as many companies that offer this kind of activity. We only promise what we can offer. Our job is difficult due to the Canadian winter rigour. Every day is different (temperature variations, snow density, physical effort depending on the members of the group, trip progress, mechanical problems,…)
The territory covered is as great as France (500 000 km²) for practicing snowmobiling. We try to complete our raids. Our customer fidelity rate amounts to 85 % : 25 % come back each year, 30 % every two years and 60 % every 5 years. Our contracts are concluded directly without any middleman. Free spaces are available for everyone but most of the time new paths and new lakes are searched by plane, quad, boat or four-wheel drive vehicle during summer. Since 1989, we are crossing the territory of Quebec. Most of the new companies are former guides or clients that started their own company. The vehicles belong to us and we don’t work with a renter.
